At “Green Life Karoo,” we are preparing the necessary infrastructure for desalination of seawater in the most suitable conditions for growing tropical fruits in the Chabahar region, using state-of-the-art technologies and smart agriculture knowledge. Sustainable agriculture is the missing link in Iranian agriculture, and our dream is to achieve it through proper use of water resources.

The regions of the Oman Sea and the Persian Gulf, due to their semi-arid conditions, provide the possibility of producing agricultural and horticultural products for many crops, especially tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, papayas, pineapples, dragon fruits, passion fruits, guavas, chikus, avocados, loquats, coconuts and hazelnuts. The best climatic conditions for plant growth are found in the south of Sistan and Baluchestan province. However, to minimize environmental stresses we have provided semi-greenhouse conditions (cultivation under shade nets) for maximum efficiency.
